Pokemon Go is one of the biggest mobile sensations in the world. People are hunting Pokemon left and right, but the game is riddled with bugs that can hinder your overall experience. Add to that the fact that you need to consume battery juice, cellular data, and exercise to win at the game, and you might realize you can’t take advantage of it to the fullest. However, there are plenty cheats, as well as tips and tricks that should help out with the Pokemon daily grind.

 We have featured plenty of Pokemon Go cheats, though some of them won’t work any longer – the Pokemon mapping feature to be more specific. That said,Bloomberg collected a few interesting hacks every user can probably take advantage of.

The Poke Ball Thrower, seen in the following image, is a contraption made of a cardboard box and sticky notes to help you launch Pokeballs to perfection. The cheat can come in handy especially considering that a current bug helps Pokemon escape at higher rates than before. Here are instructions on how to make one.

The Pokemon Egg Incubator is a trick the helps you pretend like you’re walking, and it’s required to fool the game into thinking you’re actually out and about. All you have to do is strap the phone to a ceiling fan, and your eggs will hatch.

The Battery Pack Pokedex is a do-it-yourself smartphone case the includes an external battery case. You can build it yourself, but if you’re really lazy, just pick an external battery and put it in your pocket.

The Pokemon bot is something more difficult. Crafty developers created Pokemon Go bots that walk the map for you, collecting items. It’s not clear if it’ll work considering Niantic’s recent moves against map apps, but you can read more about it here.

Finally, there’s a GPS spoofing setup that lets you pretend you’re anywhere in the world. We’ve already covered a similar product that works on jailbroken iPhones, but this one should go with any mobile device. However, you’ll need to invest some $300 in extra equipment to make it work.

It’s been over a week since Niantic shut down many of the most popular Pokemon Go tracking apps on the internet, including fan favorite Pokevision. According to Niantic, it was necessary to shut down these trackers in order for the company to continue to release the game in new territories, but while many have stayed dead, new trackers have appeared to take their place.

One of those trackers is called FastPokeMap, and although it is far from being as effective as Pokevision, it should get the job done in a pinch.

What’s most fascinating about the tracker (other than the fact that it actually seems to work) is that the developer has been sharing his progress every step of the way on Twitter. He started working on reverse engineering Pokemon Go shortly after the update rolled out, began beta testing his product a few days later, released the beta on August 7th and has been improving it ever since.

One of the primary differences between FastPokeMap and Pokevision is the scan radius. In Pokevision, when you scanned for Pokemon in your area, you’d see a huge area filled with Pokemon. On the other hand, FastPokeMap is slightly more limited, which means you’ll only see creatures basically within walking distance.

There’s no telling how long it will be before FastPokeMap goes the way of the other trackers, but if you’re looking for something to help you find Pokemon in your area (since the game’s nearby feature is still broken), you can give it a shot.

First things first — there are a few things you should know about this cheat before we go any further.

People have been banned from the game for using hacks to fake their locations, and it’s quite possible that this cheat will get you banned. That said, it’s highly unlikely. Hacks that have gotten people banned simply teleport players from one place to the next, instantly. With this new hack, however, your character actually walks around the game and you control him or her with a joystick instead of magically being teleported from Ohio to Mexico in the blink of an eye.

The next caveat is even more important. In order to utilize this cheat, you’ll need to jailbreak your iPhone. We recently showed you how to jailbreak your iPhone without even having to connect to a computer, so it’s not very difficult to do. Not everyone is comfortable jailbreaking though, and if that’s the case then this hack isn’t for you.

With all that out of the way, you’ll find everything you need in the video below. Walking around without actually moving is just the beginning with this impressive hack. There are plenty more features baked in, including the ability to locate rare Pokemon even before they appear. We’re not suggesting that we condone cheating but if you’re going to cheat, this is clearly the way to do it.
