Abia North Senatorial Election Re-run: INEC Declares PDP’s Ohuabunwa Winner

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Senator Mao Ohuabunwa of People Democratic Party, PDP, the winner of the Abia North Senatorial Zone re-run election.

Mao polled the total number of 26009 votes, giving his opponents much gap, as Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu of People Progressive Alliance, PPA, polled total number of 25814 votes. While Onuoha Bordeaux of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, also polled about 13367 total number of votes.

This will be the second time of the lawmaker in the house of Senate, as he is declared the dully winner of the Abia State, Senatorial Zone Election Re-run.
