Housewife bathes husband in boiling water over lack of sex
According to report, the mother of six fled the family house shortly after the incident, claiming that her husband has been having affairs, while threatening to make his life unbearable.
The victim, Frank Nwani, has refuted the claims, instead stating that his wife is the one sleeping around.
“My wife has been sleeping around, hence I stopped sleeping with her for three weeks. It is a taboo in my tribe and she violates the laws,” Nwani said.
According to Nwani, trouble began brewing on Thursday night due to a quarrel that the couple had when he joked about his wife being lazy.
It is alleged that the woman, Awele Nwani, dashed to the kitchen where she boiled water and later threw over her husband while he was relaxing in the parlour.
Police Officials at the Ibusa Police Division have confirmed that Awele remains on the run, claiming that she made away with N2,000 in contribution received by her husband.
The victim continues to receive treatment for his wounds at a private hospital in the area.
